100% Handmade Needle-Felted Strawberry Window Display Props

Aritzia’s Spring 2026 brief called for a window display set that captured the season’s natural vitality.
The challenge was twofold: needle felting is an inherently slow, entirely handcrafted process that is difficult to scale, and every individual strawberry seed had to be treated separately to achieve the mirroed gold finish the brief demanded.
The concept centers on oversized strawberry sculptures as the hero visual.
Soft, layered wool roving in gradient tones ranging from pale green to deep red gives each piece the warmth and imperfection of something genuinely grown.
Leaves, blossoms, and poseable vines complete the botanical composition, with each element designed as an independent module so the full set can be scaled and arranged to suit windows of any size.

Every seed gold-plated. Every vine shaped by hand. A botanical still life crafted entirely from wool.

– Strawberry body: carved foam core, lightweight and fully shapeable
– Surface: premium wool roving, custom multi-colour blend needle-felted directly onto foam
– Seeds: individually 3D-printed in rigid resin, then gold electroplated
– Leaves & vines: soft steel wire armature wrapped on both sides with hand-cut wool felt
– All materials selected for low shipping weight and on-site reshapability
Needle Felting
Wool roving is hand-layered onto a foam base and needle-felted into a firm, textured surface — colours blended fibre by fibre, no glue, no heat, no moulds.
3D-Printed Seeds · Gold Electroplating
Each seed is individually 3D-printed then mirror-gold electroplated, set one by one into the felted surface to catch light like inlaid jewellery.
Leaves, Flowers & Vines
Built over a soft steel wire skeleton and wrapped in hand-cut wool felt, every leaf, bloom, and vine can be freely bent and reshaped on site.
Each strawberry begins as a carved foam armature. Wool roving is laid in successive layers and needle-felted directly into the foam surface, building up both structure and colour. The gradient from green to red is achieved through hand-blended fibre layers rather than dye — the same way colour shifts in a ripening fruit.
Seeds are individually 3D-printed, then sent through a mirror-finish gold electroplating process before being set into the felted surface.
Leaves and flowers are built over a soft steel wire skeleton, wrapped on both sides with hand-cut felt, and finished with painted vein detail. The wire core means every leaf and vine can be repositioned on site.

The finished display prop set ships as a collection of independent modules — strawberries, leaves, blossoms, and vines — that store teams can compose freely within their own window dimensions.
As a fully handmade set delivered to a global rollout, the Aritzia Spring 2026 window series demonstrates how artisan craft production can be structured for consistent, repeatable results at scale.

A structured workflow that keeps the brand in control from brief to delivery.
References, dimensions, quantity and finish confirmed up front.
Full renders and technical drawings shared for client sign-off before any physical work.
A single sample is produced and documented for feedback and approval.
Approved units manufactured, quality-checked and flat-packed for shipping.
We love to get involved from the concept stage — turning your ideas into beautifully made, production-ready displays.
