Custom Visual Merchandising Window Display for Coach

VM Display created this custom visual merchandising window display for Coach’s “Windows of the Future” campaign. The installation features an oversized fiberglass dragon emerging from a broken-screen structure while presenting Coach handbags to passing customers.

The imaginative composition combines sculptural display props, digital imagery and merchandise presentation to connect a fairy-tale character with a contemporary luxury retail environment. The dragon’s expressive shape and integrated handbag supports turn the storefront into a memorable visual story rather than a conventional product display.

Through our custom visual merchandising services, the approved concept was developed into suitable materials, structural connections and production-ready display components for the Coach retail window.

02

Fiberglass Dragon Display Prop with Integrated Bag Supports

The custom dragon statue is manufactured entirely from fiberglass, providing the freedom to create its oversized body, facial expression, hands and other dimensional details. The lightweight sculptural material is suitable for producing complex branded characters and large visual merchandising props.

Metal hooks are incorporated into the dragon’s hands to support Coach handbags as part of the window composition. A concealed fixing component at the back connects the fiberglass statue to the display panel, making the dragon appear to break through the digital screen.

The sculpture, metal accessories and finished display components were coordinated through our custom display props manufacturing process. More information about the material and construction options is available on our custom fiberglass dragon statue page.

03

A Broken-Screen Structure Built Around the Retail Story

The broken-screen effect forms the architectural setting for the fiberglass dragon. Thin laser-cut metal sheets are finished with UV-printed crack graphics and positioned in front of the LED screen to create the illusion that the character is emerging from a digital city.

The rear connection secures the dragon to the screen structure, while the integrated metal hooks position the handbags within the character’s hands. Before delivery, the display components are assembled and reviewed to confirm the screen image, structural connection, prop alignment and overall visual effect.

Fiberglass can be molded into large, detailed and complex forms while remaining lighter than many solid materials. It also supports custom painting and surface finishing, making it suitable for character sculptures and dimensional retail display props.

Yes. Hooks, platforms, brackets and concealed fixing components can be incorporated into a sculpture when required by the display concept. Their position and load requirements should be confirmed during technical development.
