Fabric Wrapped Character Statue for Branded Retail Spaces

VM Display developed this fabric wrapped character statue from a well-known game IP, translating its recognizable silhouette, colors and personality into a three-dimensional commercial feature.

The approximately 110 cm high figure combines a fiberglass body with painted details, printed graphics, accessories and long velvet fabric wrapping. Its contrasting textures give the character a softer, more tactile appearance than a conventional fully painted model.

Our licensed character realization service can transform approved game artwork, mascot illustrations or brand IP files into production-ready models for flagship stores, gaming pop-ups, shopping centers and themed launch events.

02

Textile Covered Fiberglass with Mixed Surface Treatments

A durable fiberglass body forms the principal three-dimensional structure, supporting complex curves, dimensional accessories and detailed character features. The surface can then combine several finishing methods within one figure.

Long velvet fabric creates the soft tactile areas, while handcrafted painting, automotive-style coatings and high-definition decal graphics reproduce facial details, logos and costume elements. Metallic plating, flocking, textile wrapping and alternative printed treatments can also be considered for selected components.

Three-dimensional modeling, mold development, composite forming, painting and textile application are coordinated through our multi-finish model fabrication workshop. For colorful faceted forms with a fully painted surface, explore our polygon rabbit sculpture collection.

03

Game Character Installations for Stores and Launch Events

Fabric covered character figures can serve as store entrance attractions, interior centerpieces, photo opportunities and promotional features for gaming releases, entertainment collaborations and limited-edition merchandise launches.

The pose, dimensions, fabric texture, color references, accessories and logo application can be adapted from approved IP guidelines. Existing molds may support faster repeat production, while new character designs require separate modeling and mold development.

Browse our entertainment-led retail project portfolio for examples of distinctive branded environments. To develop an approved gaming character or tactile mascot figure, request an IP sculpture feasibility review with your artwork, authorization status, dimensions, quantity and launch date.

Fabric Wrapped Character Statue FAQ

Tell us about your project — a sketch, reference image, or even a rough idea is enough to get started. Our team will respond within 12 hours with a tailored approach and indicative pricing.

Yes, provided that the client owns the character or has authorization to reproduce it. Approved front, side and rear artwork helps the modeling team maintain the correct proportions, colors and recognizable details.

Fiberglass provides a rigid three-dimensional body, while velvet or another textile introduces a softer visual and tactile quality. Combining the materials also allows painted, printed and fabric-covered areas to appear on the same character.

Available treatments can include automotive-style paint, handcrafted painting, decal graphics, flocking, metallic plating and fabric wrapping. The combination depends on the character artwork and durability requirements.

Yes. Our character translation and modeling team can develop a three-dimensional proposal from approved illustrations or design drafts. The digital form, pose and construction are reviewed before mold production begins.
